Description
Electrolux Series 300 Induction Hob 4 Burners | 60 cm Built‑in | SliderTouch Controls | PowerBoost | KeyLock | Black

Introduction: 4 Burners, Instant Heat, and Absolute Precision – The Hob Your Modular Kitchen Deserves ⚡
Imagine a cooktop that boils water in under 90 seconds, responds to your touch like a smartphone, and stays cool to the touch everywhere except under your pan. That’s the Electrolux Series 300 Induction Hob (EIB60424CK) – a 60 cm built‑in powerhouse designed for the modern Indian kitchen. With 4 induction zones of varying power (from 1.4 kW to 2.4 kW), you can boil, simmer, fry, and sauté simultaneously with pinpoint accuracy. The SliderTouch controls let you adjust heat levels with a simple slide of your finger – no knobs to clean. The PowerBoost function delivers an instant surge of energy, boiling water faster than any gas stove. And because induction heats only the pan, the surrounding glass stays cool – safer for children and easier to wipe clean. The KeyLock safety function prevents accidental changes, and the sleek black glass ceramic surface adds a touch of elegance to any modular kitchen. Backed by a 2‑year warranty (plus 3 years on glass), this Electrolux hob is the smart, sustainable choice for families who value speed, safety, and style.
Key Features & Benefits: Precision, Power, and Peace of Mind 🔥
⚡ 4 Induction Zones with PowerBoost: Four independent cooking zones (front left: 2.2/2.4 kW, rear left: 1.4/1.5 kW, front right: 1.4/1.5 kW, rear right: 1.7/1.8 kW) plus PowerBoost on select zones for ultra‑rapid boiling – boil water in under 90 seconds.
🎛️ SliderTouch Controls – Intuitive & Easy to Clean: Adjust heat levels (1‑9) with a simple slide or tap. No physical knobs means no crevices for grease – a smooth, seamless surface that wipes clean in seconds.
🛡️ Induction Safety – Cool Glass & KeyLock: Induction heats only the pan, not the hob surface. The surrounding area stays cool, reducing burn risk. KeyLock locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes – ideal for households with children.
🧼 One‑Touch Clean – Smooth Glass Ceramic Surface: No raised elements or burners. Spills don’t bake on; just wipe with a damp cloth. The sleek black finish resists stains and complements any kitchen.
⏱️ Fast & Energy Efficient: Induction transfers up to 90% of energy directly to the pan – far more efficient than gas or traditional electric hobs. Cook faster, save electricity.
🔒 Residual Heat Indicator & Auto Shut‑Off: “H” symbols show when a zone is still hot after use, preventing accidental burns. Automatic shut‑off adds safety if the hob is left on inadvertently.
🚫 Child Lock & Safety Shut‑off: The KeyLock function disables the control panel, preventing children from turning on the hob. Additional safety features include auto shut‑off if no pan is detected.
🌍 Sustainable Choice: Electrolux has been committed to sustainability for over 100 years. By choosing this energy‑efficient induction hob, you contribute to a better, greener future.

How to Use Your Electrolux Induction Hob
Installation: This is a built‑in hob. Ensure your countertop has the correct cut‑out (560 x 490 mm) and adequate ventilation below. Professional installation by a qualified electrician is essential.
Power On: Touch the power sensor for 1 second. The hob activates.
Select Zone: Touch the zone selection symbol for the burner you want to use.
Set Power Level: Slide your finger along the SliderTouch bar to set the desired heat level (1 to 9). The hob responds instantly.
Use PowerBoost (Optional): For rapid boiling, press the PowerBoost symbol on the active zone. The zone will deliver maximum power for a limited time, then revert to the highest standard setting.
Lock Controls (Optional): While cooking, touch the Lock sensor to freeze settings and prevent accidental changes. For child safety, when the hob is off, touch and hold Lock for 4 seconds to disable the hob entirely.
Turn Off: After cooking, touch the zone selection symbol, then slide the SliderTouch to “0”, or simply turn off the main power sensor.
Residual Heat Warning: If an “H” appears on a zone’s display, the surface is still hot. Do not touch – wait for it to cool.
Clean: After the hob has cooled, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Use a specialised hob scraper for stubborn spills (sugar, melted plastic) while the glass is still warm but not hot.

FAQs
Q1: Is this hob compatible with all cookware?
A: It works only with induction‑compatible cookware that has a magnetic base (cast iron, magnetic stainless steel). Test with a magnet – if it sticks firmly, it will work. Avoid aluminium, copper, or glass unless they have a special induction base.
Q2: What is the total power consumption?
A: The maximum total power is 3000 Watts. It requires a dedicated 15A electrical circuit for safe operation. Professional installation is recommended.
Q3: Does it have a child lock?
A: Yes, the KeyLock function disables the control panel when the hob is off (touch and hold for 4 seconds) or locks current settings while cooking. This prevents accidental activation or changes by children.
Q4: How do I clean the glass surface?
A: After the hob has cooled, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn spills like melted plastic or sugar, use a hob scraper while the glass is still warm (but not hot). Avoid abrasive pads.
Q5: What is PowerBoost?
A: PowerBoost is a function that delivers an instant surge of maximum power to a cooking zone for a short period – ideal for rapidly boiling water or searing meat. It automatically reverts to a high standard setting after a few minutes.
Q6: What are the cut‑out dimensions for installation?
A: The required cut‑out size is 560 mm (W) x 490 mm (D) , with a minimum depth clearance of 48 mm. Professional installation by an authorised technician is strongly recommended.
Q7: What warranty does Electrolux offer?
A: Electrolux typically provides a 2‑year standard warranty on the product, with an additional 3‑year warranty on the glass top (excluding physical damage). Check the specific product listing for exact terms.
Q8: Is the hob easy to install?
A: This is a built‑in appliance. Installation involves cutting the countertop, making electrical connections (15A circuit), and sealing the edges. A qualified electrician or Electrolux authorised service technician should perform the installation.
Q9: Does it have residual heat indicators?
A: Yes, each zone has an “H” symbol that lights up when the glass surface is still hot after the zone is turned off. This prevents accidental burns.
Q10: Can I use it with a gas cylinder (LPG) backup?
A: No, this is a purely electric induction hob and requires a mains electrical connection. It is not designed for gas. It is an excellent alternative to gas stoves, offering faster heating and better energy efficiency.
