This is a 700mm hob, please recheck the cutting and model size. It’s a nice looking hob except for the service from elica which seems extra slow as compared to Faber.

It was good in the starting but after 1 year of usage the flames are turning red and there is not enough heat. Burners needs to be replaced and the burner charges are high.

What didn’t like : it is not full automatic. Gas will release in air even if you don’t switch on ignition. Practically it is same as manual hobs except inbuilt lighter.
If you looking for proper auto ignition. Don’t buy this model. Call Company company to know correct model. Most store guys don’t know this features.

I am writing this review after using 2 years. The hob worked well for starting 2 months. Then it started giving red flame and all the utensils are turning black. Even the service person could not solve the problem. One more issues is it does not have proper control on the flame, either it will come high or very low. I won’t recommend this product from Elica.

The product looks ok but yet to be tested for durability and performance.
It’s the 6th day today since the product was delivered and I am still waiting for someone from the company to come and install it.
I had read reviews about the installation problems and delays but never imagined it would happen to me as well.
So all the prospective buyers beware of this issue.
I have called twice to the local Elica care centre at Patiala Punjab and written 3 mails to the ELICA customer care also but still waiting. So if you have the ultimate patience levels and can swallow your pride over non responsive customer care then definitely you should buy from Elica.
PS- would update and edit this review in sometime soon.
Update – 18-10-2023
The installation guy finally came after repeated calls and mails to Elica.
When he was done with the installation and turned on the gas from the cylinder, a loud hissing sound started and we noticed the knob at the back (where the rubber pipe is joined with the hob) was broken totally. My worst fear had come true. Today was the last day of the return window and if the tech guy had not come (because of my repeated requests and reminders ) I would have been stuck with the defective piece. Now awaiting the replacement – which is yet to come in the next 7-10 days.
Will Update the performance when I start to use the new product.
Update -26-10-2023- the replacement was delivered today and it was in a deplorable condition – picture attached- the entire outer packaging torn and the contents inside strewn here and there. Praying to god that the contraption works – that too if the installation guy is feeling generous to come over on time else I am mentally ready to wait for a week again. I am wondering that it is a paid installation and still have to wait so much – what if it was a free installation???

Got the replacement product installed – finally
But was this time delivered a returned / used product which again turned out to be defective
Have attached the video of the strange noises the burners are making
Gas is not passing normally / smoothly through the burners.
Have raised a complaint with the service centre.
Hopefully the issues get addressed.

I like the product and its useful. Auto Ignition works okay not the best you have to try 3-4times.
