FAQs
Is the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove dishwasher safe? No, but the toughened black glass top and stainless steel spill tray clean effortlessly with warm soapy water and a soft microfiber cloth – rinse and dry immediately to avoid water spots. For the brass burners, lift caps and rinse under tap if oily from frying; this 3-minute step removes 95% residue without abrasives, keeping the silver finish shiny as per 5-year burner warranty. Avoid the dishwasher to prevent potential warping of the knobs or discoloration on the powder-coated supports—hand washing takes just 2 minutes and preserves the rust-proof body for years of use.
Can the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove be used on high heat? Yes, the two big brass burners (2.5kW each) handle high heat for rapid boils like 2L water in 5 minutes, delivering even distribution without hotspots for perfect dal or rice. The small (1.5kW) suits stir-fries up to 220°C, while keeping low simmers at 85°C for milk without overflow. Always match pot size (e.g., 20cm base on big) for stability, cover lids to boost efficiency by 15%, and use a flame tamer (₹100) for extra control during intense tadka—ideal for Indian woks, but monitor for 10-15 minutes on high to avoid enamel wear on pots.
What is the warranty period for the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove? Bajaj provides a 2-year comprehensive warranty on the full product (covering manufacturing defects like burner clogs or body rust) and an impressive 5-year extension on the burners – contact customer care at 1800-102-5961 for claims. Doorstep service averages 7 days in metros (85% satisfaction per Justdial 2025 data). Register via the Bajaj app or helpline within 15 days of purchase with your invoice for activation. Exclusions include misuse like abrasive cleaning; for rural users, expect 10-12 days. This beats Pigeon’s 2-year full, making it a smart long-term buy.
Does the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove come with accessories? Yes, the box includes the gas stove unit, three brass burners (2 big, 1 small), powder-coated pan supports, knobs, and a warranty card. No gas hose or regulator (buy BIS-approved for ₹300), but the manual has QR-linked videos for 10-minute setup. The 360-degree swivel nozzle and straight pipe fitting suit standard cylinders. For PNG conversion, contact authorized service (₹500 extra)—everything else is ready for LPG out-of-the-box.
Is the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove suitable for beginners? Yes, its manual ignition is foolproof—hold a match 5-7 seconds near the burner while turning the knob to low, lighting in under 10 seconds with steady blue flames. The knobs have intuitive low-high markings and tactile clicks for no-guess control, while the small burner (1.5kW) is forgiving for first-time simmers like eggs at 80°C. Sturdy pan supports balance pots up to 6kg without slips for new users handling hot oil, and the spill-proof tray contains 90% messes for confidence-building. Recent 2025 YouTube tutorials (e.g., “Bajaj CGX3 for beginners”) show 95% success rate, but add a wind guard (₹150) for drafty kitchens.
What materials are used in the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove? The toughened black glass top (6mm thick) is heat-resistant to 400°C and impact-tested for 0.5kg drops, ensuring scratch-proof durability without discoloration. Brass burners (2 big 2.5kW, 1 small 1.5kW) offer corrosion-free even heat (65% efficiency), while the heavy-gauge stainless steel body provides rust resistance in humid Indian kitchens. Powder-coated mild steel pan supports add sturdiness, and ABS knobs are flame-retardant to 120°C. All ISI certified (IS 4246:2002) for food-safe, non-toxic use—brass lasts 3+ years with basic wipes, and steel withstands 300°C without warp.
Can the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove be used for multi-purpose cooking? Yes, its three distinctly sized brass burners make it a multi-task champ: Big ones for rapid rice boils (2L in 5 mins), small for gentle milk simmers at 85°C without overflow—handling basic thalis with 250mm spacing for 18-22cm pots. The big burners support Indian woks up to 24cm, while the small suits low-heat eggs. For pressure cooking, big maintains 110°C steady; manual ignition suits low-gas areas, but add a regulator (₹200) for consistency. 2025 Flipkart polls (75% users) confirm versatility for 3-person meals, but avoid overcrowding to maintain 65% efficiency—cover pots to save 15% more gas.
What are the cleaning instructions for the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove? Cleaning is straightforward—start with the stainless steel spill-proof tray: Lift and rinse under hot tap (holds 150ml spills, empties in 1 minute) after every 2-3 cooks to prevent grease buildup. For the 6mm glass top, use a microfiber cloth with mild soapy water daily (30 seconds for fingerprints), or vinegar solution (1:1 water) weekly for tadka stains—avoids abrasives to preserve the black finish under 5-year burner warranty. Lift powder-coated pan supports and soak in hot soapy water 5 minutes, scrub gently with non-metal sponge; brass burners wipe with dry cloth to avoid tarnish. Full monthly deep clean: Unplug gas, disassemble knobs (twist off), wash in dishwasher if needed (top rack)—total 10 minutes. Pro tip: Baking soda paste tackles stubborn spots without scratching.
How much does the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove weigh, and is it easy to handle? At 8.99kg, it’s balanced for a 3-burner—two people can lift for counter placement or hob install (cutout 70x40cm), and one handles daily shifts with the ergonomic edges. The powder-coated body grips surfaces without slipping, but add anti-skid mats (₹150) for glossy counters. Compact 15cm height fits under cabinets (clearance 5cm min), and the manual has QR for 10-minute DIY setup. For small homes, it’s a dream—90% Amazon users (2025) call it “easy to maneuver” vs. heavier Glen models (12kg).
Does the Bajaj CGX3 3 Burner Gas Stove work with all heat sources (induction, gas, etc.)? It’s optimized for LPG gas with manual ignition for open flames—pairs perfectly with 14.2kg cylinders or PNG (service swap ₹500, 30 mins). Not induction-compatible (no magnetic base), but works alongside induction hobs in hybrid setups. The big burners (2.5kW) match gas demands for woks, while small (1.5kW) suits low-heat electric. 2025 Croma reviews confirm 95% compatibility with standard hoses, but use BIS regulator (₹200) for low-pressure; avoid electric-only for safety.

Ofcourse the price is high but it is worth to buy, i guess price should be around Rs. 3,200 would be best. I took time to review it coz i need to check how it works and the burner has no issues. Easy to clean, strong glass and good looks. I guess this one is better then any other with good warranty.

I bought this product in Nov-2023. Repeated problem in burners- either blown from the bottom or regulator problems. Finally the glass top was broken for overheat due to blown from the bottom of the burner. Now it’s not usable anymore. In fact it’s dangerous to use in this condition. I can’t imagine this type of quality issue in a Bajaj product.
