It’s lid is not supporting, the steam leaked from the side,so whistle doesn’t whistle,what to do it’s very late ,I opened it now and used it

There was a defect in the item received. The pressure was not retaining. Steam was leaking through gasket.
Later Amazon has replaced the defective one with new unit and the same was working fine . Value for money

Lid open very hardly & ordinary gas ket also , lid was main problem body pot has sharp part when close the lid

When I cook, pressure leaks from the side of the lid, and food doesn’t cook properly because the pressure stays low. I asked a local mechanic, and he said it’s happening due to a poor-quality rubber ring, and suggested replacing it with a nylon ring. But I don’t understand the point of changing the ring in a brand-new cooker.
