Nice size and feel, but doesn’t seem to be really stainless. After boiling some pasta on medium heat (no frying) and one run in the dishwasher, the inside of the pot has already developed a blackish corrosion stain.

I wanted to replace my non stick and anodized casseroles with sturdy steel one. This does the job very well. It is sturdy with thick bottom. You can stir fry on minimum oil without food sticking much to the bottom. Use low flame though. Food cooks well. Vinod is a well known kitchen brands providing quality products at competitive prices.

It is very nice pot with flat and wide base. The material is also of good quality. The glass lid has a small collar which does not allow any insects or dust to enter the pot.

After using it some days for cooking rice at induction chulha. I’m truly glad for picking it. Very well built and thick bottle is truly heavy. Recommending it.
p.s. Used several sandwich bottom utensils in last 30 years outside India, its bottom is truly good, the handle could be better, but that’s secondary.
