Heavy duty with quality feel in hand and looks, i can feel the quality material used and their price by in hand feel but the non stick capability is somewhat underwhelming. Heat distribution is good but both the handles one of pan and other of metal lid gets hot overtime. Overall pretty looking heavy pan with limited nonstick performance.

Quality of this fry fan is very good. Very heavy quality material and very thick base so very don’t get burnt. Coating is very good not easily getting off. It’s very base is very smooth so we don’t need to use more oil . Ss lid look very primium and quality of lid is also very good.

We purchased this 12″ pan with the 8″ as a set. Cut to the chase, these pans are amazing. We have a gas stove (for reference). The build quality is 5 star, the steel core heats very evenly and quickly and unlike aluminum pans, does not take a drastic temperature drop when you put food in it to cook. Handles are solid and very smooth shape and easy to grasp and hold. Cleanup is a breeze even when you cook things that can ‘stick’ during a cooking process. I do have ONE complaint, and that I didn’t know about these pans sooner and purchased them much sooner – we messed around with the chemical coated aluminum pans that started failing within 3-6 months of use and who knows what materials were cast off into the cooking. For cooking ‘oils’ we cook exclusively with butter and or grass-fed tallow. We only use these pans for medium and lower heat, nothing SUPER hot – for that level of cooking I use cast iron exclusively. We hand wash once the pans are cool and only use non-metal utensils. Ive been passionate about cooking for decades and tried just about everything out there and these + my cast iron is the ONLY thing I will now use, period. Amazing pans, lifetime warranty, crazy high quality and cook and clean like a dream.

We bought a set of 3 of these last year hoping for a high-quality non-stick kitchen pan. We’re pretty disappointed, and 9 months later are now trying to find something to replace them.
These are supposed to be non-stick and dishwasher safe. They are perhaps more non-stick than an iron skillet, but far less non-stick than other pans I have had in the past. And many times after running them through the dishwasher, they still come out less than perfect, and we have a very good dishwasher that typically does a great job with just about everything else.
They especially don’t do well with high heat: the food really bakes on and is hard to get off. Trying to scrape off the burnt food with a plastic scraper sometimes doesn’t do the job, and is a lot of work. See the attached photo of the aftermath of frying some pasta with cream sauce: you can see in the middle where I tried to scrape off the burnt cream, but there are still many places where it’s just a hard, resistant baked-on film.
I’m used to non-stick pans losing that quality after 2-3 years, but this set started going bad in 6 months or less. These were not cheap, and now we have to find another set.

I have had this skillet for about two months and have used it at least once every day. My other non stick skillet is a 12 inch All Clad D5 which was a lot more expensive and is already showing a lot of wear after a couple of years. My experience with this skillet is only on an induction cooktop but I expect that it would perform equally well with gas or electric. Specific features are: heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly, flat, non-stick works great and seems quite durable, relatively lightweight. Curvature of sides makes it easier to âshake and flipâ sautĂ©ed items. I liked it so much that I ordered the 8 inch version as well. Quality is excellent (made in Brazilâ better steel) and exterior remains bright and shiny. If you are looking for a non-stick skillet you will not be disappointed with this series and Tramontina in general.

Have just used it to make omelettes, pancakes and chillas. It does the job perfectly. Surface is smooth and shiny. Nothing sticks to the bottom making the cooking easy. Little expensive but the product is premium and High quality.

I am so glad I found this pan through ATK. Itâs a great pan. The handle is well made. The curve of the pan is ideal. I like the nonstick material. Itâs holding up really well and I would certainly buy this line again and in other sizes.

This is the absolute worse pan to cook fried eggs in. No matter how much or how little butter you use, the eggs will stick to the pan, making a huge mess. I have tried starting the pan on a very low heat, but it made no difference. I wanted to return this pan, but the date for return had gone by. The pan is ok for other foods you may want to saute or fry other foods, but I was specifically looking for a good pan to fry eggs in, and this is not it!!
