I bought the Pigeon Electric Rice Cooker mainly because it comes with two stainless steel bowls and looked convenient for daily use. The cooker is easy to use and clean, and the stainless steel build does feel decent.
However, the functionality is a big disappointment. The cooker automatically switches off within 4–5 minutes, and after that it won’t turn on again unless you let it cool down completely. This makes cooking rice or anything else very frustrating and time-consuming.
Though it comes with two bowls, it works properly with only one bowl. The other bowl is practically useless because the base doesn’t work with it, and even the lid fits perfectly only on one bowl. So the second bowl feels like a waste.
Another major issue is the cooking button. It keeps switching to warm mode on its own, and the keep-warm function is unreliable. Many times the cooker doesn’t turn on at all.
Overall, while the cooker looks good and is easy to clean, the performance does not justify the price. It may work fine for some, but based on my experience, it’s not worth the money due to repeated functional issues.

purchased a Pigeon Inox rice cooker from Amazon, but unfortunately it was a defective product. I am extremely disappointed with the product quality as well as Amazon’s customer service.
When I contacted Amazon Customer care regarding the Issue ,return and refund, their response was very casual and unhelpful. The whole process was frustrating and not customer-friendly at all. I expected much better support from such a big platform.
Very disappointed with this experience. I would not recommend anyone to buy such products from Amazon based on my experience.

The cooker is supplied with two stainless Steel cooking vessels. With one particular bowl the cooking process is always incomplete in as much as that the cooker comes to warm position without fully cooking rice. This particular vessel/bowl needs replacement.
