I first bought the 1-liter pan in 2020, then added a 1.5-liter version later that year, and both have become kitchen staples for my mom and me—used daily for boiling water or making chai. Recently, I picked up the 2-liter pan with a lid and noticed the spout design is even better now, making pouring neat and effortless. The lid is sturdy and hasn’t warped, even with frequent use on other pans. I also appreciate that the handle stays cool and doesn’t break like handles on most other teapots I’ve tried. One of the standout features is the self-balancing design—even when empty, the pan sits steady.
Overall, I’m very happy with all three purchases across five years—these pans are well-made and reliable!

The Hawkins Futura Hard Anodised Sauce Pan is a perfect solution for your everyday kitchen needs such as making tea. Tea is something which has to be made multiple times during the course of the day which requires a pan that can be cleaned easily, that is durable and that has a perfect spout. This sauce pan from Hawkins Futura has all the qualities that I just mentioned. The fact that I bought this pan more than a month ago and I have made countless amount of tea in it since then is a clear giveaway of the quality of this pan. In fact one of those times I even burnt the tea to charcoal but still the pan came out as new as it ever was after cleaning. I don’t think that there can be a tougher acid test to check the quality of this pan. So I give a big tick to this pan in terms of DURABILITY. The photos that I have uploaded is not of a new pan, it was clicked just before writing this review. Even the photos suggest that the look of the pan has not changed one bit despite such heavy usage. This even proves that the material of the pan is stain free and the hard anodised quality doesn’t rip off because it is an inherent quality and not a coating.

The best thing about this pan is that it gets heated up really quickly. Any other non-stick pan or a heavy duty sauce pan which show off a thick metal take a lot of time to heat up. Surprisingly, this Hawkins Futura Sauce pan despite looking extremely heavy built takes very little time to heat up. You can actually make your tea in less than 5 minutes in this pan which is what the modern generation wants.

Eventhough this pan is not credited non-stick tag but still I think it possesses qualities that are similar to a non-stick pan. When I burnt my tea in it I thought that the burnings which got stuck would never be removed. But to my amazement, the burnings could easily be removed just by washing it under the tap. This proves that the pan is very EASY TO CLEAN as well.

Last but not the least, the price of this Hawking Futura Sauce Pan with lid is quite reasonable considering the fact that it promises a really long haul in your kitchen. If you can get a reliable sauce pan for your kitchen at around ₹950 which helps you in a range of kitchen activities then it is definitely bang for one’s buck. Surely a VALUE FOR MONEY product.

Trust me this is the best spauce pan we have in this affordable range, have used two models of prestige in past tgey were pathetic but this one is gem.
Pros:
1. Super sturdy, made of good metal and plus, omg what a super sturdy handle it has, the non stick coating of the pan is awesome
2. Good capacity and true to size, i have a huge family, perfect for 8 -12 cups of tea at a time.
3. It pour liquid like a magic with zero spilling, thats the best part of this product. I wish i had included a video for that as well
4. It also has marked measurement inside of the spause pan, can mentioned on one of picture for 1 lit and 2 lit of water, which makes the task lot easier if you dont have the measuring tool.
