Product is of premium quality. It has good solid weight to it. Extremly slim and burners are of very good quality and flame is perfect.

Service Charges = Service Charge + Transportation charges ( for technician) = Rs.500 (or more depending on the transportation cost and the distance between the service center and your home)
I am using the blowhot gastop for 1.5years now. Initially it felt appealing with its design but it fails to serve its purpose in long term. The most basic thing that any person would look forward after their purchase it the after sales experience. Blowhot is a BIG BUMMER it that department. I reported a broken knob and issue with the big burner during low flame, and the responses are given below:
1. The product is out of warranty. But as per the description the Glasstop/Burner/Valve has a warrenty of 5years.
2. While enquiring about this misleading detail they said the service warrenty expires in 1year. So I need to pay the service charge of Rs. 250. Only the parts warranty is 5years. I still can’t understand how that fits. If something under warrenty has an issue why do we need to pay for it?
3. Still the registered the service ticket and embarked myself to face new surprises.
4. I received the call from technician and he said that I have to pay him Rs.500 as total service charge for the visit and for the knobs will be Rs. 85 each, which was earlier communicated as Rs. 70 during the customer service call.
I communicated the details I received from the customer service person to the technician and asked why there a huge gap between their statements.
He asked me to check with the customer service again and he can only visit if I agree to pay the amounts quoted by him. I disagreed and contacted the customer care again.
5. Now, this new person from customer care to my surprise said the technician is correct. Service charge is Rs. 250 and I need to pay the two-way transportation charges for the person which is charged at Rs.2/km. Now since they do not have my service center in Kolkata and the person is coming from a different district Hoogly (Bhadeshwar) to Kolkata (Newtown) the transportation charges will be Rs. 250.
So now my under warrenty product parts suddenly costs me 8% of my total product cost as service charges.
Needless to say BLOWHOT extrots the customer in after sales service. Stay far away from it. Because, this policy applies to all their customer and anytime you need a service post 1year you gonna blow a hot hole in your pocket.
