I fell in love with the modern look of this gas top. Despite other reviews about the glass, I decided to buy it anyway. I chalked it up to thinking the other reviewers must’ve been rough or maybe have dropped something heavy to cause the glass to break. I was determined with this beauty. I made sure my cookware was not too heavy. I cooked on low to medium flame. I waited until the glass and burners were cool to touch before cleaning. I cooked on this a total of 3 times when I realized the glass was cracking from within. This is clearly NOT tempered glass and NOT meant to be used for a stove. I don’t know how this product passed inspection. So, I am returning it for a full refund and will buy a more durable product . . One that is meant to cook on. If you are purchasing for looks only and do not intend on actual using the product, then by all means it’s a nice purchase. Otherwise, stay away. Because it will happen to you. You’ll only end up disappointed. I have included photos of when I first purchased as well of photos of the cracking.

The product was delivered within two days of ordering by amazon. Elica three gas burner is built in hob which can be used as a cook top also it’s easy to use, compact and looks great . The burner was installed by elica’s technicians only for which I have to pay…. It would be great if installation of the product was free. Other than that the product is totally value for money and services provided by the company was on time and hassle free. It’s a great buy for your kitchen and it comes with warranty.

I have been using this hob over a month now and it’s good, interms of auto ignition, flames, lookwise average, but it works properly . Although, I had to get in touch with elica service to get it installed properly (increase flames, get the pipeline gas connected) Due to lockdown I had to wait a little for the service guy, anyway he fixed it and since the service wasn’t provided by Amazon, I had to pay some amount to the guy.

The Elica hob 3 is an elegant looking kitchen top which enhances the look of my kitchen. However, the auto ignition feature is difficult to operate as it does not work as expected everytime I turn the knob. Barring this one drawback of auto ignition (for which I paid extra), the hob is very nice.
