This rice cooker I purchased 3 years back. From the beginning red light was not working. Then there was a problem with the switch and heating. During warranty period they repaired it such that heating was mormal, but the lights didn’t work. Now within 3 years the entire heating coil and switch are not working. So I have to condemn it. Not worth buying.

It is good for a family of 4. It’s a bit tricky to clean outside because the chances of staining are high as it’s white. Otherwise, utility wise it’s a great product.

First of all, Amazon delivery was prompt, even though I sent it to my parents in a remote township. Secondly, the package was packed perfectly, since even the product carton was undamaged. Now the product, as I have been told by my Mom, works absolutely fine. Moreover, it perfectly balances the moisture of the cooked rice in such a way, that even simple Mogra rice looks and smells like aromatic long grain costly Basmati Rice. And when it comes to good Basmati, the cooking is impeccable. The cooker is easy to clean, easy to handle and very lightweight. If you are choosing between different cookers, I would suggest, just go for it. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a good option for a small family of 4. The rice cooks fast, approx. 30 minutes.
I have used this everyday for almost one month now. The container is easy to clean.
Pros:
1> Easy to use. I haven’t felt the need to ask my wife, how to cook the rice.
2> Preparing of pulao or khichdi is not a problem at all.
3> Placed in a good price range.
4> Prompt delivery by Amazon

1st time The coocker did not auto switch to warm mode when the rice is cooked. The rice spills all over the place even when it is less than 25 percent of the vessel.
2nd time in the trial attempt the cooker suddenly turned off, rice remained uncooked and since then it’s not turning on.
I’ve used bajaj rice cooker before and it was much efficient. The warm cook switch also has gaps and is tilted.
Poor quality. Poor service.
1st time the item was defective but functional this item I received today isn’t even functioning. It’s worse.

After moving to North from South on transfer where the temperatures are touching single digits eating hot food has become a luxury. This rice cooker has come in very handy as it keeps the food hot for longer periods. Usually in cookers of other brands I have observed rice getting burnt frequently but strangely this happened less with Prestige rice cooker.

It is good and easy to use top lid is made of thin steel please handle gently and inner cooking vasal is aluminium which is light weight and thin . I found slightly bend in inner vasal my self pull it and correct it. Rest all good. Water will dry it completely and stain will be in down side but you will get net plate where cooked food in top of net plate and stain will in bottom.
