It was defective

The kettle failed within 10 months. The poor quality of plastics inside ended with broken connections. Now struggling to service it in this Corona conditions. Not upto brand name.

Prestige has no proper quality with this kettle…
It gets switched off within 2 or 3 secs ..
Leaves a burnt mark in the bottom…

👌🏻 Easy to use – automatically switches off after the boiling is done. Doesnt have to wait.

🚫 CAUTION
1. Do not touch the metal surface during or after use. Super hot and need to keep children away.
2. The fibre plate beneath and the bottom of the kettle needs to be perfectly dry to avoid hazards.
3. Using tap water for boiling can deposite zinc on the inner walls of the kettle and gradually decrease the performance of the kettle.
4. Do not use it to boil anything other than water – tried milk, electric fuse was damaged due to tripping.
5. Place it on a flat surface during usage.
6. Boiling water with full capacity all the time decreases the life of the kettle. Recommend filling the kettle on half of its capacity.

Very good product.. does what it is made for..I just boiled water in it .. didn’t cook any other dish or liquid food item which others did..
it’s bit noisy while heating .. in closed AC design office you can hear it loudly..
And Made in China??? Why Prestige.. I bought Prestige over other brands thinking it would be Made in India.. atleast now onwards start manufacturing in India !! One star deducted for that..

This product really helped me lot when I fell sick. It deserves best product but the sorriunding plastic is very cheap and water is leaking handle. But it is best used when you need to do inhale water steam. Request to prestige to improve some more quality.

I liked the temperature control, as soon as it reaches the boiling point it turns the button off.
Would have been better if the length of wire was long for me, but i think it would be enough for most of the users.

Cord length is pretty small and sometimes can be annoying if plug points are way at top. If not the product is good and needs to be handled delicstely. The body can be damaged easily if mishandled. Water boils pretty quick under 2-3min max and tried maggi once and took less than 4 mins. Reduced the stars for shorter cord length as it could have been lenghtier for the price its being purchased.
