This is my third buy….the same one. They last you good 3-4 years. After that you can get it fixed, but i just get a new one. But the food cooks faster. Its cheaper. If you get a hang of it….you will switch from gas to induction. Its a good buy.

This product is a worth buy, and i feel everyone must have this in their kitchen. It has saved me a lot of time and money when all of a sudden my LPG cylinder ditched me! With 1 year guarantee and several modes of cooking it is a perfect kitchen material. I have been using it from past several months and trying out all its mode for cooking and its working pretty fine,doesnt consume too much power also.Overall its a good product.

First of all I would like to thank Amazon for their superfast delivery system. I am using Prestige PIC 1.0 V2 1900 watt induction cooktop for three weeks. Its control panel seemed complicated primarily but when I got used to it, I found it rather convenient than my previous induction cooktop. As a first thought, I found it objectionable providing few buttons exclusively for south Indian dishes. But later on I discovered only temperature matters.
Actually every button is associated with a particular temperature (e.g. deep fry = 160 degree, sauté = 200 degree etc.) which also can be increased and decreased. Highest temperature point provided here is 240 degree Celsius which is most appreciable feature. Empirically speaking, there are many 1600 – 1900 watt cooktop models available in the market providing 800 to 1200 degree heat feature, only to radically reduce induction cook-top’s longevity. So this pre-controlled heat measures will ensure cook-top’s long life, I believe.
Although Prestige should really reconsider whether it is appropriate providing exclusive south Indian food buttons in a product they intend to sell nation-wide. Moreover the side rim which seems metallic in picture and affirmed by product description is actually made of fiber. I should subtract one star for these two reasons.

I was surprised to see so many critical reviews. So I decided to write one myself. This is after one year of light to moderate usage.
Over the past year I’ve used this cooktop on a daily basis for making tea, heating milk and on a weekly basis for making some main course dish and desserts like butter chicken, chilly babycorn, carrot halwa, payesh etc. which have a cooking time of 45+ minutes. I’m an amateur cook, so there were numerous instances of spilling and over cooking. The cooktop has withstood all such abrasions with a high degree of perseverance and is working with efficacy.
Of late I’ve been cooking more frequently and I’ve already bought induction based utensills worth twice as much as this cooktop. It’s been an amazing experience so far with flame free, hazard free cooking.

Already filed for refund… Induction bought at Prestige smart kitchen was far better and smoothly operating for more than a year and this one started showing error within 3 days of use. Can’t take any stress on to and fro communication hence opted refund and shall buy from Prestige Smart kitchen itself. Amazon needs to be vigilant on product quality sold through them. Brand is fine but item can be defective. Thanks for initiating my refund faster.
