Tawa is great, heavy with smooth surface. The only problem is the black oxide put on it during manufacture, no matter how many times I clean it, heat it & oil it, when I wipe it with a kitchen towel the black oxide rubs off, so I can’t use it for food until it completely comes off and the natural carbon builds up over time…I wish they wouldnt put it on in the first place.
Extremely good value for money and will eventually become nonstick as with all cast iron pans, very durable lasting many lifetimes if looked after properly.
