High quality product. Attaching the lid the first time was confusion. There is an arrow on the pot to the right of the handle (on the pot ) that has to be lined up with the arrow on the lid before closing. I use both hands, one on the back of the lid and one on the handle, to close the lid. Quite simple and not difficult. It has a heavy bottom that holds the heat, which allows you to lower the heat setting on the burner. Cleans up nicely.
I am editing my review because- today I cooked pasta in this pressure cooker on a front burner of my stove. I had some hamburger in my frying pan on the back burner. When the pressure relief valve released a big blast of steam it could have affected my arm, had I been reaching across it. Bottom line is USE THIS ON ONE OF THE BACK BURNERS to avoid making contact with steam releases. I will never reach over (across) a hot pressure cooker. Just a word of caution.
