Boiling milk is essential for keeping kids healthy but it used to be a big headache to boil it. It would either always boil over and spoil the gas range as well as smell bad for days every time the gas was lit or it would require continuous supervision to make sure someone stood over it and switched off the gas when the milk came to a boil.

Now this is the perfect solution. I can’t think of a better way to boil milk. There is no burnt milk smell. Nothing sticking to the vessel that needs to be cleaned with a steel wool scrubber. Nothing boils over, nothing spills and you hear a crystal clear whistle to let you know the milk is boiled. But you can wait then too. Even if you don’t switch off the gas when the whistle sounds, nothing ever boils out. The milk never boils to the top. It stays exactly at the level when it was cold. I am attaching pictures to show this.

It is absolutely perfect. I can’t recommend this enough. We commonly get milk delivered daily in 500 ml packs and this easily holds three of them or 1.5 litre. This is more than enough for my family for a day. If you need to boil more milk, boil it twice. Or buy a bigger vessel. Once it is cool, we slide the whole vessel in the fridge. It is very convenient to handle with the two handles on the side.

I see some reviewers posting photo of heat damaged item. But if you read the instructions, the big red and black sticker on the vessel, that never needs to happen. The damage will only happen if you put the vessel on the gas without first filling it with water. Otherwise, as long as there is water in the vessel, it will never burn out or crack. It’s not possible. The water will never allow the temperature of the boiler to go above a 100 degrees and that is not anywhere near to damage the utensil. The only way to damage steel sheets used to make this vessel is to either drop it from a height or get it hot on fire by forgetting to fill water and realizing your mistake, suddenly try to cool it with water.

I recommend this highly to everyone looking for a perfect way to boil milk safely and without needing any supervision.

I had to buy this bcoz I was fed up with milk spillage on my glass top hob. It is working as a saviour for me. Pour a little water and it keeps going for many days. I can boil 1 1/2 lit milk in one go. The kid has plastic knob that makes it user friendly even when it’s hot. Pouring is also easy, doesn’t fall down. Over all I am happy that I bought it.
I am adding this after a little ng time, one connis during summers the water inside the vessel doesn’t cool down easily and hence the milk also stays hot for very long period of time and bcoz of which the frequency of milk getting a little bad ..increases….but I would like to add that it’s only applicable if u keep milk outside(which I did)..if u keep it in the fridge, should be fine.

Firstly… the look and quality are very good!
But… 1 Ltr milk cooker fits EXACTLY 1 Ltr but the lid couldn’t close without touching the liquid inside.
So if you need to boil 1Ltr of milk, order the 1.5L milk cooker (and so on)
