Very concerning experience with the glass lid of my Prestige pan. After cooking, I washed the lid and simply placed it back on the pan. The pan wasn’t hot and there was no heat involved.
Within seconds, the glass lid suddenly exploded into pieces on its own.
This is a serious safety hazard. A kitchen lid should not shatter under completely normal use, especially when it’s not even on the stove. Glass fragments went everywhere and someone could have easily been injured.
Extremely disappointed with the quality and safety of this product. I expected much better from Prestige.

If a steel spatula is used, the coating gets scrapped off. Else good product.
After 1.5 years, I see the coating is mostly scarpped off.

The pan is good and washes well in dishwasher but the black knob on the cover broke in a couple of days, on its own. Just snapped cracked and now the grip get loose often
