NEGATIVE : (1) The container has already developed scratches at the inside base. So, disappointed. (2) LID = As per countless Reviews “with proofs of photos” = The Lid is NOT made of tempered glass & “certainly it’s of a poor quality”. So never ever cook with the closed Lid. Don’t obey? Then the Lid will burst due to steam pressure. POSITIVE : 1) “Broad” Induction Base. 2) Yes. Very heavy container, indeed. 3) From inside, the handles at both sides looks like riveted. But it’s not the case. From outside one will notice, they are fixed with screws and bolts from inside. 3) I have an Induction Cooktop (name withheld) with printed circle at the centre with dia = Approx. 15 cms. The base of the container fully covers this heating circle. So, great advantage = Whatever kept gets cooked at a faster rate.

I’m reviewing this product after using it for about two months. Do you think it’s a value for money? I guess yes, it is, but I have faced some issues with this container. It works on an induction and gas stove, but heat disturbance was not even. Once I placed the container on the stove with all the ingredients, at the base (inside the container), I have seen swelling of the steel material to a certain extent, and that will go after pouring the water in it. Please don’t place it on the stove with empty contents or don’t overheat the oil for a pleasant smell of the spice ingredients; otherwise, it will become red and swell all over the bottom. You will regret this act. So please don’t do it. Second issue is that when you wash it, the water will seep into the gap which was created at the base of the container to support the induction facility. This makes cooking unnoying because the water will start coming out of the gap, which is there at the bottom. Also, scratches come after washing. Even handling screws were not tight; I had to tighten them with a screwdriver. It is not heavy, but okay. Comparatively better than others. When you place the glass lid for faster cooking, the evaporated water bubbles will force the glass lid to come out and will make the way for excellent water leakage. So don’t place the glass lid for too much time; otherwise, it’ll break due to overheating. Overall, the item is okay and easy to use. The price is reasonable. Considering all of these facts, you can make a purchase or withdraw your decision.
