It is useful for preventing insects, lizards etc entering in to exhaust fan from outlet opening. It is made of plastic and tough. It fits in 6 inches exhaust fans’ outlet opening well. It is of very good quality.

Mosquitoes entry completely stopped from exhaust fan .

I bought 2 for around rs.220 in march 2024. This is an item that matched exactly to my requirements.
Pros:
1. Stops pigeons, mosquitoes, lizards, rats entering through exhaust fan hole.
2. It fits the fan exhaust hole tightly.
3. It is a readymade solution at 6 inch size. DIY solution.
4. Looks neat.
Note: sometimes you need to cut the outer border, fitting area, make splits to make it flexible to insert in exhaust hole.
Con:
1. The original holes are large and mosquitoes may enter. So for safety i pasted a nylon mosquito mesh, by manually cutting and pasting. Refer the pic for whole size.
