Prestige products are supposed to be good. I think they sent me a faulty product. Right from the start, I found closing the cooker to be difficult. Now the top plastic cover (in black) of the whistle peeled off. I am not able to put it back in.

This pressure cooker is an idiot-proof pressure cooker if you’re looking to cook up two or three helpings. I use it for cooking beans. If you have a gas stove, a heat disperser makes it easier not to overheat and burn your beans; I use the stainless steel one with holes in it you can buy on amazon.
